Why has the dollar risen 17% since June?

Why has the dollar risen 17% since June?

It is not because the FED signaled and end to its quantitative-easing program.

It is not because the decline in the price of oil.

It is not because the domestic side of the U.S. economy is showing signs of greater strength.

It is because since June the are 27 countries involved in war conflicts in Africa, 18 in Asia, 9 in Europe, 8 in the Middle East and 5 in the Americas, making a total of 65 countries involved in war with 614 military groups.
