Twitter lost $64.6 million in the September quarter, wider than the $21.6 million a year earlier.
The social networking company reported that its revenue rose sharply in the third quarter of this year, to $169 million.
Goldman Sachs Group Inc. is leading Twitter’s offering, while Morgan Stanley led Facebook’s.

Perfect death at the perfect age
Joy Johnson, the oldest woman marathon runner in the NYC Marathon died just one day after finishing the prestigious race on Sunday.
She died just hours after completing her 25th consecutive appearance at the race.
She was 86 years old
Miss Johnson complained she was tired and went to lie down in her room at the Roosevelt Hotel in Manhattan.
She didn’t wake up and was declared dead at Bellevue Hospital, the Daily News reported.
