How To Know What Should Be Measured
How To Know What Should Be Measured
You should measure what you understand.
You should measure what you can visualize.
You should measure questions that have answers.
You should measure probabilities rather than anecdotes.
You should measure volume, velocity and variety.

Generational theft and thieving generation.
A massive long-term problem.
The generational wealth transfer that benefits oldsters at the expense of the young.
While today's 65-year-olds will receive on average net lifetime benefits of $327,400, children born now will suffer net lifetime losses of $420,600 as they struggle to pay the bills of aging Americans.

How the U.S. Government controls you
How the U.S. Government controls you
Using deep-learning neural networks to find hidden patterns and insights in that data.
Many of the things you haven’t explicitly told to the U.S. Government can be deduced from the things they have.
Ever-improving pattern-recognition systems that they are building (and others will inevitably follow) will be able to extrapolate your secrets, with a high degree of confidence, from the subtle cues and nuances inherent in your visible live profile.
In fact, between deep learning, “big data,” and increasingly ubiquitous cameras and other sensors, on drones and embedded virtually everywhere, they’re moving headlong towards a world where your live is owned by the U.S. Government.

How America will keep the entitlements
How America will keep the entitlements
An increase in entitlements has closely corresponded to a decline in the country's savings.
The decline in savings has been offset by borrowing from abroad, which brings us to our current foreign debt: "$5 trillion and counting".
Foreigners will keep lending to America because America will keep military investment in science and technology.
